Welcome to Lake Caroline, Virginia!

 

A gated community residing on a pristine lake, surrounded by 1400 acres of single family residential homes. Located in the Madison District of Caroline County, Ladysmith, Virginia.

 

The lake covers approximately 277 acres. Flowing west to east, it's over 2 miles long with a depth averaging 15 feet throughout and 32 feet at the dam. Graced by a 10 mile tree lined shore, the lake is fed by numerous hillside springs, artesian wells and Stevens Mill Run.

 

Nestled in the peaceful serenity of a lake community, members enjoy many amenities through out the year. Including swimming pools, tennis court, basketball courts, pavilions for parties or gatherings, a clubhouse and office, two sandy beaches for swimming in the lake and nine lake access/recreation areas. All are dedicated for use by the property owners and their guests. Boating, water-skiing, sailing, fishing and other water activities are enjoyed by lake members as well.

 

Lake Caroline is situated in an easily accessible area in Central Eastern Virginia. Residents of Washington, DC drive south on I95 about 1 hour from I495.
